Hello,
I have a forum website(invision board) and need some inputs to select a dedicated server.
My forum has 8 million posts (Including posts and topics) in total.
Right now i am using Xeon 5260 2 bay chaisis
12 gb ram
400 gb SD
I just want to know how can we determine the server configuration ..based on what factors?
Current issues i am facing is database table crashes....
What are your views on Zakservers.com offshore dedicated servers ? Can I trust them? Alternatives?

I was recommended to try Zakservers.com as a host that offered excellent value, and most importantly for me, as a complete novice, excellent support. Have to rely on their tech support to set up certain settings, but they are very willing to do so, and they do it promptly upon request.

Servers are always fast, issues are resolved promptly and pricing is perfect. Each ticket was responded to in a timely manner which was so quick I was amazed.

I've finally found a good home with Zakservers.com web host. I especially love their support. They have been absolutely wonderful, for the most part. I've had a billing issue, and an outage, both of which were remedied immediately. The uptime with them is great, I rarely have any downtime, or lag.
