Which VPS hosting to choose?
#1
Hello everybody.
Advise vds hosting. I have never used this before, I had experience using shared hosting. I just want to raise a test web site, go the way from a bare virtual machine to the deployment of a working project on my own. What are the pitfalls? For a really average project, which hosting is preferable, domestic or is it better to choose a foreign one, taking into account current trends in legislation?
Any info on RegVPS.com Private VPS hosting?
What hosting provider would you rather choose? Why?

VPS plans from libertyvps.net and owned-networks.net are full-featured and cheap.
Their servers are solid in price, and never had a server fail or go offline. Best: they don't upsell and they don't have support always trying to get into your account and database....and what they charge per month is as stated = not unexpected fees = no unexpected charges. These hosting companies are very underrated = I strongly recommend, trust.

Attractive VPS accounts from hostingsource.com and hostsailor.com are worth trying.
Their servers are fully-redundant, scalable and flexible, control panel is usable and has web master-friendly interface and prices are not high.

I have not been disappointed. Regvps.com is really good linux vps web host with professional team of webmasters.
The server is also more stable and reliable than the host I had. Their customer support is great. Any ticket I've put in has resulted in a real e-mail response within 10-15 minutes.

Speed is very good, if not excellent. I spend only several minutes to see the possibilities and my site was up in less than half an hour. Great job guys! My customers will be very pleased.

If you are looking for VDS hosting and want to experience the whole process of setting up, but also receive quality assistance, I would recommend contacting hostpro.com. I am their customer and I am completely satisfied with their services. They provide excellent speed and friendly support.
As for the pitfalls, it's important to consider your technical skills and the requirements of your project. If you have little technical knowledge, it will be very difficult for you to configure the VPS to work correctly on your own. However, if you are confident and have a good base of VPS management, you shouldn't have any problems. From the point of view of legislation, domestic or foreign hosting depends on your project and the audience you are targeting. Both have their advantages, but keep in mind that domestic providers may be more adapted to local legislation.
Personally, I chose hostpro.com because of their reliability and quality of service. I recommend that you contact them directly and they will be able to advise you in more detail on this issue.
